The Chronicles of Dalupan ES

Dalupan Elementary School was established in 1957, through the initiative of Mrs. Maria Dalupan who was a teacher of San Francisco Elementary School. As a teacher, Mrs. Dalupan saw the plight of the school children going to school everyday. Pupils residing in the area of West Riverside cannot attend their classes regularly especially during rainy days because the place is far from San Francisco Elementary School. Due to this situation, she gathered the pupils residing in West Riverside and nearby places to form the population of a new school which was opened through her resourcefulness and kindness. She offered her two-story house at # 12 Marinduque St. Brgy. Del Monte, Quezon City to be used as classrooms for the pupils. The place was then rented by the city government from her. The school was named Dalupan Annex taken from the name of the owner of the building where the school was housed.

In 1988 Dalupan Annex was transferred to its present address at # 29 Marinduque St. Brgy. Del Monte, Quezon City and changed its name to Dalupan Elementary School. A three-story building with eleven classrooms was built through the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in a 597 sq. m. lot which was bought by the city government from a private owner. Another three-story building was built last 2000 through the efort of the Congressman of 1st District Hon. Reynaldo Calalay. The building which has two classrooms was named after him.

Dalupan Elementary School is a complete elementary non-central school.
